The best family photos I've ever taken have happened in the middle of absolutely nothing special. A paddock, some golden light, kids who couldn't care less about the camera. That's the sweet spot.

Tessa was beyond accommodating and even travelled to us for our photoshoot. My children felt so comfortable with Tessa and she is very big on just letting kids be kids which I loved! When you book a session


Booking a photography session should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Here’s how it works from start to finish, so you know exactly what to expect.

1. Initial Enquiry

Once you get in touch, I’ll respond personally to discuss your ideas, preferred dates and the type of session you have in mind.


Your date is locked in once your booking form, contract, and 50% deposit are completed. Payment Plans are always available, please discuss this prior to paying your deposit.

2. Getting ready

I'll provide personalised styling advice before your session. All packages include access to my client closet, and we can chat about incorporating animals, special items or anything else that tells your story.

3. On the day

Forget everything you think a photo shoot has to be. There’s no pressure to perform, no expectation that the kids will sit still and no need to know how to pose. I'll guide you when needed, but mostly I want you to focus on each other.


We'll chat, wander, explore and let the session unfold naturally. If the kids want to run, we run. If they need a cuddle, we stop for a cuddle. The magic is usually in the moments you can't plan.


Think of it less like standing in front of a camera and more like spending time together while I document the good bits.

4. After the session

Your full gallery will be ready within 4-6 weeks, edited and delivered via an online gallery you can share and download. If you'd like prints, albums or wall art, just get in touch and I'll help you sort it.
